Since opening in Sparta, Taco Paisa has gained quite a following – and after one visit, you’ll likely be a part of that following.

Anyone familiar with the area will remember that a Tastee Treet once occupied the tiny building that now houses Taco Paisa.

However, since 2011, it’s been home to Taco Paisa, which has quickly flourished into one of the state’s most beloved Mexican restaurants.

One look at Taco Paisa and it’s clear that it’s a “no-frills” type of place. But that’s okay because the tasty fare more than makes up for the lack of frills.

Step inside, and you’ll find a small dining area that seats about 12.

The menu, which is posted on the wall, is small, too, but it features all the classics. Chow down on tacos, burritos, tortas (Mexican sandwiches), and quesadillas.

Consistently delicious, the grub, particularly the tacos, burritos, and salsa verde, has warranted countless rave reviews in the decade the eatery’s been open.
