The Flanders Hotel in Ocean City, New Jersey is one of the best places to stay in the state. The hotel is beautiful, right on the beach, and has great amenities. What really makes it stand out, though, is its long past. The hotel, now 98 years old, survived a devastating boardwalk fire and later became iconic thanks to its multiple massive saltwater pools.
