Based in Bolton, Vermont, the Winooski River Footbridge is a cable and wire bridge for hikers who want to walk a part of the Long Trail. This suspension bridge was built in 2015 by the Green Mountain Club as part of the Winooski Valley Long Trail relocation project. Thanks to the bridge being placed in this location, hikers, local visitors, and people who use wheelchairs can experience a part of the Long Trail that includes spectacular views of Vermont’s lush scenery....
