Welcome to Gilroy Ostrich Farm! Considered one of the largest ostrich farms in California, you’ll want to be sure to plan a family field trip to see what it has to offer.

The farm is located in Gilroy and although it’s primarily an ostrich farm, you’ll find that it’s home to all sorts of adorable farm animals. From bunnies and pigs to alpacas and goats, you’ll love getting to know these furry and fuzzy critters.

The farm is open seven days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and reservations are not required to visit. Stop by anytime you like during open hours (admission does end one hour before closing.) Although, you can save a bit of money if you buy your tickets in advance online.

Tours of the farm are self-guided so you can explore at your own pace. You’ll come across a variety of animals during your time here including, yes, ostriches! Located way in the back of the farm, there’s a lot to love about these zany animals. Do keep your cell phones and hands away from them, though - they can bite.

Hanging out in the farm pens you’ll find pigs, rabbits, chickens, and goats. You can even feed the animals if you’d like. The farm provides special feed for you to give them, so please don’t bring any outside food.

After your tour, be sure to stop by the gift shop. It’s located in the same building as the 4 Seasons Farm Stand and it contains a plethora of awesome souvenirs, gifts, produce, and snacks.
