To stretch your legs after a long drive, head to the Market Common. It is Myrtle Beach’s cultural hub, where you can experience exceptional browsing, shopping, and dining in a gorgeous village setting. Explore locally owned boutiques and grab a snack for the road.

Head downtown to Myrtle Beach Boardwalk for sightseeing, food stalls, and entertainment. Ease your mind with arcade games, ride the Skywheel, and visit Ripley’s Aquarium. You can also consider visiting later in the evening for a romantic moonlit stroll.

The public beaches at Myrtle Beach are safe and well-maintained, so choose one and have a lovely day with your companion. Bask in the sun, enjoy a picnic, wade in the water, or swim in the lifeguarded swimming areas.

It is almost sinful to explore South Carolina without visiting Broadway at the Beach. In the summer, it boasts fireworks, parades, street magicians — our favorite — and live entertainment. But, you can also sit comfortably and watch the sunset. It is quite a magnificent sight!

Barefoot Landing is another fascinating place in South Carolina that can make you happy. If carousels and amusement rides are your thing, go wild. Later on, catch a live show at the Alabama Theatre, face one of nature’s fiercest creatures at the Alligator Adventure, go on the Crooked Brew Tour, and finish up at the Visitor Center to learn a fact or two!

Kick things up a notch at the Vereen Memorial Gardens. Enjoy wildlife and native vegetation on a 100-acre property, watch boats cruising the Intracoastal Waterway, and tour historic gravesites.
