The Moonlight Rollerway originally opened in 1956 as Harry’s Roller Rink. Located inside of a 1940s-era building that was used to make airplane parts for the war, this roller rink is as old school as it gets.

The “Original World-Famous Moonlight Rollerway” is an iconic skating destination in Southern California. With its vintage vibe and original maple wood floor, it proclaims to be “the most filmed roller rink in the world.” Chances are you’ve seen the Moonlight Rollerway in movies and television shows without even knowing it.

When it’s not being used as a filming location, the Rollerway is open for skating, classes, and events. They are generally open on weekends for all ages skating with classes for beginners and kids held on Saturday morning. They also host adult-only skating nights so the 18+ crowd can enjoy time in the rink without kids.

When you’re enjoying a family night out, a date night, or just a fun evening with friends, the Rollerway is the place to be. Everybody must pay regular admission, but you can bring your own skates if you’d like. Otherwise, you can rent a pair for just $6.
