Finding a family-friendly hike can be a challenge, especially if you’ve got little ones to tote around. Luckily, Hawaii is full of scenic hikes and many of them are good for all ages. One of our very favorite trails is the Manoa Falls Trail. Not only is it family-friendly, but it brings you to a waterfall that has the perfect family photo opportunity. Manoa Falls Trails is a popular hike ideal for any age. Located in Honolulu, Hawaii, it’s a 1.6-mile round trip. It is well-trafficked as it’s close to downtown Honolulu.

Manoa Falls Trail leads to a waterfall with a shallow pool below. Although you may be hot and steamy from your hike, swimming is not permitted in the pool.

The hike takes place in a lush rainforest setting. Parts of this breathtaking trail were actually featured in the TV show Lost and the Jurassic Park movies. So, if you’re a super-fan, this is definitely a trail to check out on your trip to Hawaii.
