Sometimes you want to lace up your hiking boots and tackle a challenging trail. And other days, you just want a lazy stroll through nature. The Kettlehole trail in Lincoln is the latter. Kettlehole Trail is a beautiful 3.5-mile hiking path in Lincoln, Massachusetts. It will take you past truly charming horse pastures and meadows.

The hike starts out in the woods and follows a flat, meandering path. You don’t need special hiking boots for this trail, but sneakers are advised.

This is an out-and-back trail, so you should plan on turning around once you reach the end in order to make your way back to your car. The entire trip should take you about 1.5 hours, if you take things slowly.
