Sever’s Fall Festival is a popular autumn event in Shakopee, Minnesota. It’s been around since 1997 and is the Midwest’s original fall festival. For the 2021 season, they’re open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from September 10 through October 31. They’re also open during MEA weekend, on Thursday, October 21, and Friday, October 22.

Like every year, this year’s fall festival is filled with favorite fall activities. To start with, you can pick out a couple of pumpkins to carve for Halloween.

The giant slide is always a fun stop. Climb all the way to the top, then slide down on a burlap sack. Kids and adults alike will enjoy racing on this slide!

There’s a fun jumping pillow where you’ll have a blast reaching new heights…

…and a grain sandbox where kids can jump, dig, and bury. There are so many things to do here, you could easily fill an entire day with activity.

But of course, you can’t leave without giving Sever’s most famous attraction a go: its biggest-in-the-Midwest corn maze. Each year, an impressively complex pattern is cut into the corn. Past years have included monkeys, dinosaurs, maps, and many other designs.
