After you have had your fill of wine and yummy food from Shade Winery, it’s time to take a trip to Boord State Nature Preserve located in Cutler, Ohio.

Boord State Nature Preserve is made up of 125 acres of wooded area, running water, and waterfalls.

The preserve has a 3/4 loop trail that is designed for all skill levels. The wooded area is loaded with white pines, hemlocks, agrimony, white snakeroot, spotted jewelweed, and other beautiful local trees and plants.

The trail through Boord State Nature Preserve is not only framed by the scenic plant life, but also by cliff overhangs and moving streams that lead to waterfalls. One of the waterfalls features a sandstone gorge which is around 60-80 ft. deep, depending on the season.
