Hawkeye Point is located in northwest Iowa, just south of the Minnesota border and near the community of Sibley. It’s about an hour east of Sioux Falls. A row of signs at the site points toward the locations of the other 49 state high points.

The campground is located right across the street from Hawkeye Point. There are 12 camping sites, a shelter house, modern restrooms, playground equipment, a fire pit, and 24 picnic tables.
