New York City has plenty of food markets, but few inspire as much awe and delight as Smorgasburg. The outdoor food market has many, many diehard fans — and now it’s leaving New York City for greener pastures. Well, greener pastures in our eyes, and only temporarily.
That’s right — Smorgasburg is opening up a location in New Jersey that will operate in 2021 and hopefully beyond despite the multiple NYC locations staying on hold due to COVID-19. For now, Jersey City is the new home of the food market.
Still, we’re just so excited to head to Jersey City and peruse Smorgasburg’s various options. Wear loose pants and skip breakfast — you’re gonna need the room!
