Okay, okay, let’s be real here – every trail in North Dakota is an awesome trail in North Dakota. How lucky are those who live here to be in a place that’s so incredibly scenic? No matter where you roam on any given day, the only sure thing is that wherever you end up, you’ll be in some kind of paradise. There are plenty of trails to explore all over the state that showcases all the brilliance it has to offer; one of our favorites is the Sperati Point (via Achenbach) Trail, which is nestled within Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Take a look, and see why we’re so in love with it:

You’ll begin by taking the Achenbach Trail…which you access by taking the beginning of the Caprock Coulee trail.

The signs will lead you from the trailhead to Achenbach trail, and then from there, you’ll break away to an incredible overlook with some breathtaking views.

This adventure takes you on quite the sightseeing tour despite its short length.
