When searching for a place to stay, we can choose a run-of-the-mill hotel that can be found in most cities, but why do that when there are numerous one-of-a-kind options around the Prairie State? From treehouses to log cabins, a hobbit house, and even a grain bin guest house, we have our choice of extraordinary places that can enhance our time away from home. Many of us seek out memorable accommodations, ones that can be destinations in themselves and where we can relax in a serene environment. If you’re looking for a relaxing sanctuary to spend the night, you may wish to stay at McGrady Inn.

McGrady Inn occupies the space of what was once a United Brethren Church in Charleston. After a three-year restoration project, the church was transformed into a five-bedroom inn that opened in 2008.
