Did you know that Maryland is home to a handful of waterfalls? They’re beautiful to hike to, and to look at, but not all of them are safe for swimming. Fortunately, the following two Maryland waterfalls are perfect for a dip, especially during summertime. Read on to learn more about these two natural wonders that will take your summer to a whole other level.

The first waterfall is known as Cascade Falls and it’s located at Patapsco Valley State Park in Central Maryland.

…and even dip your feet in the water. During warmer months, you’ll find more people here, especially on weekends. Week days will be a bit less crowded and a bit more peaceful.
