If you’re searching for something to do with the entire family, Massachusetts has countless options. Whether it’s visiting a zoo, heading to one of the many gorgeous beaches, or to one of several fascinating museums, the Bay State has you covered. But have you ever considered taking a quick day trip to an alpaca farm? Surprisingly, there are several farms around the state that are home to alpacas. One, in particular, is located in the town of Harvard and is a great option for a fun family day trip.

Established in 2016, the Harvard Alpaca Ranch in the town of Harvard has an adorable herd of alpacas that you can meet on a tour of the farm. Free farm tours are offered on most weekends, by appointment only, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
