- Indian Peaks Wilderness (Ward)
AllTrails/Laura Burke No matter which trail you choose to take (yes, there is more than one!), get ready for a true feast for the senses, as Indian Peaks is chock-full of colorful and fragrant blooms that you will never forget. (Pictured is the 8-mile out-and-back Devil’s Thumb Trail.)
- Chautauqua Park (Boulder)
Flickr/Brad Fagan No time to sneak away from the big city? Then this wildflower field is for you! Located just outside of Boulder, Chautauqua Park has a wildflower trail for everyone, ranging from short and sweet to long and strenuous.
- Rustler Gulch (Crested Butte)
AllTrails/An Scharlaken Crested Butte is nicknamed the “Wildflower Capital of Colorado,” so it should come as no surprise that it is also home to one of the most memorable wildflower hikes in the state! Like most of the other wildflower fields on this list, you do have to work a bit to reap the vibrant benefits (in this case, the entire trail is 9 miles out-and-back) but trust us - it is worth it.
- West Maroon Pass (Aspen)

- Butler Gulch (Idaho Springs)

Located in the Arapaho National Forest near Idaho Springs, Butler Gulch houses one of the most incredible wildflower fields on the Front Range, thanks to its 100+ species of colorful blooms.

Nestled away off of I-70 and Exit 218, Herman Gulch is a 6 1/2-mile out-and-back trail that features not only stunning wildflowers but a lush green valley as a backdrop.
