These stunning ruins are part of the former St. Charles College. Construction on the college began in 1831 and more wings and buildings were added throughout the years. The college went strong for several decades until a fire burned down much of the structure in 1911.

Salvageable materials were transported to Catonsville where the college would be rebuilt. Now, only the ruins of the recreation hall remain.
