Oregon is home to some truly noteworthy restaurants, from 5-star dining establishments to farm-to-table treasures. But sometimes, you just want a big bowl of comfort food, and when that craving strikes, there’s Otis Cafe. Regarded as the best cafe in Oregon by long-time customers, Otis Cafe specializes in classic, home-cooked comfort food. The beloved diner closed in 2019 after a tragic fire, and for a time, its future hung in the balance. Happily, Otis Cafe dug its heels in, found a new location, and in May 2021, reopened its doors. Otis Cafe is back and better than ever, and you’ll definitely want to stop by for a big, ole hug on a plate.
