No matter the season, chasing waterfalls is always a fun day of adventure in South Carolina. And while the forests in the Palmetto State are a great place to find hidden waterfalls, there are some hidden gems that are more easily accessible than spending a few hours on foot getting there and back.

For instance, a Greenville County Park found in the city of Fountain Inn follows along the Reedy River for its entirety. And the river is filled with waterfalls and cascades!

At one point, the river widens to 200 feet at the very point it features the remains of an 1800s mill (which later became a power plant).

The scenery is beyond gorgeous as, just past the remains of the mill, the river swiftly cascades over naturally smoothed stone.

Then further downstream it cascades again.. and again.. and so forth.

While the trail around the park, measuring 2.1 miles, is a loop trail, the majority of it follows along the river doling out breathtaking views of cascade after cascade.
