If you ask 100 Washingtonians for their favorite restaurant, you’ll probably get 100 different answers. Our tastes vary here in the Evergreen State, but there’s no doubt that we all love delicious food. And we have a long list of outstanding restaurants ready to serve us our favorite things.
However, we strongly suspect most, if not all Washingtonians would agree that the food at Wooden City is second to none. And since there are now two locations, one on each side of the state, it’s accessible to more of us, which is a good thing indeed.
Wooden City was founded by a trio of owners in 2018 in Tacoma.

The mission has always been simple: To bring joy to people’s lives through the art of good food and to make local communities better places to live.

In August of 2020, Wooden City’s second location opened in Spokane.

The food here can be described as mostly casual cuisine, and it’s absolutely outstanding.
Wooden City Spokane / Facebook From small plates like caesar salads and French onion soup to the irresistible Fried Chicken Sandwich and the hearty burgers, there’s something here for everyone.
Wooden City’s pizzas are out of this world, and they’re perfect for takeout for those who aren’t comfortable with indoor dining yet.

If you imbibe, we highly recommend trying one of the house cocktails, which rotate seasonally.

Both Wooden City locations open at 4 p.m. daily for dinner service.
