We know you all love a good tourist trap. And you know what? So do we! That’s why we are sharing one of our favorite Ohio tourist traps with you so you can get out your cameras and start snapping away. The Healing Chapel in Ohio is one of those destinations that takes about 10 minutes to visit. Why? Because it’s tiny! This chapel located in Coolville, Ohio is the smallest church in the state. Although it’s tiny, it has a lot of fun to offer so it’s definitely worth a trip.
The Healing Chapel is super small at only 10 by 14 feet. In 2004, it was relocated from Burr Oak Lake to Ohio Route 33.

Since its relocation on Route 33, the chapel has been visited by thousands of visitors. It is open 24 hours a day.

Inside the church, you can find beautiful stained windows and a statue of Jesus Christ along with four pews that seat eight people in total.

Pens and paper are available to write down prayer requests and stick them with a pushpin onto a corkboard located inside the chapel.

The chapel is simply for people to drop on by, snap photos, and have a moment of silence. It does not run regular services.

If you’re looking to get married, the chapel is open for event reservations. But, make sure to cut down your guest list first!

Visiting the Healing Chapel in Coolville, Ohio is certainly worth the trip down Route 33. Consider taking a Sunday trip there with the family to worship within the walls of the smallest church in Ohio. Or go on a solo drive after work and snap some photos at sunset.
