For the true outdoor explorer, the Kisatchie National Forest is an idyllic oasis filled with rugged hiking trails, hidden lakes, and some of the most beautiful scenery you’ll ever lay your eyes on. There’s one magnificent overlook that’s worthy of a little adventure, and you’ll want to add it to check it out as soon as possible.
Nestled within the Kisatchie National Forest, the Longleaf Vista Recreation Area is one of the most scenic hidden gems in Louisiana, and the best part is that you don’t even need to get out of your car to check out the views.
