We, yinzers, certainly have very strong opinions, and we can and do butt heads on a lot of those views. However, it’s probably safe to say there’s one thing on which we can all agree. The Pittsburgh skyline is one of the most beautiful in the country, and we have no shortage of spots to admire it. However, for some of the most sensational views of the shimmering skyline, make your way to the West End Overlook in Pittsburgh.

Marvel at the city, including PNC Park and Heinz Field, as it’s drenched in the colors of fall, and feel as though you’ve stepped into a winter wonderland after a fresh snowfall.

You definitely can’t beat the views at night, with the city awash in colorful lights. If you can, try to catch a sunrise or a sunset, too.

Finally, you’ll find no better vantage point for watching fireworks on the Fourth of July, on Light Up Night, and on First Night. You just have to arrive early to snag a good viewing spot.
