The Maine Park That Will Make You Feel Like You Walked Into A Fairy Tale

We might write a lot about things to do outside, but we feel that cold weather just as much as you do! That means during the winter it takes some seriously special surroundings to get us up and out the door for an adventure. That’s why we love the trails and parks that offer a little something special. The one we’re talking about today doesn’t have anything all that unique when compared to other local parks, but it sure is beautiful. And when the conditions are right it feels like traipsing through another world!

If you’re looking for a year-round spot to get some peace, quiet and lots of incredible views, look no further than Reid State Park in Georgetown.

Any visitor to Maine beaches in the summer will tell you that a wide-open sandy section of beach isn’t especially common. But Reid State Park offers two! Both Mile and Half Mile Beach offers tons of space to explore.
