We’re talking about the Beach at Clayton County International Park in Jonesboro, Georgia.
This man-made spot in Jonesboro is a great place to disconnect from city life and dip your toes into some refreshing water.

There are so many things to do at this beach, it’s hard to get your fill after just one day here. The water slides will make you feel like you’re at a theme park, not to mention the access to the beach volleyball and picnic areas.
A cool fact about Clayton County International Park is that it was the site for a few of the 1996 Olympic competitions. Visitors can actually play on the sandy volleyball courts where the ‘96 Olympic athletes were competing for the gold medal!

The Beach at International Park is open seasonally and has a spring-fed lake more than 6-acres in size. This hidden beach in Georgia also includes a slew of water slides, an adventure kiddie pool, splash pads, and white, sandy beaches.
