Yes, there is a small, gorgeous garden that rivals some of the most famous Botanic parts out there in New Jersey. Sadly, it’s located at a private home, which means you can’t just head over there whenever. Luckily, though, it is sometimes available to the public!

Here’s what you need to know:

Located in Nutley, New Jersey, the Mountsier-Hardie garden is a two-acre private garden named after its owners, Silas Montsier and Graeme Hardie.

The two collaborated with a well-known designer named Richard Hartlage. The goal is to provide a feast for the eyes.

And boy, does this stunning garden deliver. The garden is covered with beautiful flowers and greenery.

Sculptures and artwork pop up during your stroll around the garden, so you always have something interesting and new to look at.

The garden is specifically designed to feel as if you are entering separate “rooms” or “nooks,” giving the space a private feel.

And while it is indeed a private garden you can’t just demand entrance to, the owners do let the public come view this beautiful space twice a year.
