We love a good pun, so the name had us interested right off the bat, but the delicious food is even better than the name. The owner’s family produces more than 1 million pounds of seafood annually! He certainly knows his stuff, and it’s evident from how fresh the food here is.

The historic town of Saratoga Springs has many tasty restaurants. This is definitely one that belongs on your New York bucket list!

Third generation fisherman Rick Lofstad began his career selling seafood at the local farmers market in Saratoga. Demand grew, and he opened his restaurant in 2012.

Dishes here are practically ocean-to-table. Lofstad is the founding member of New York’s fisherman co-op, and currently owns two fishing trawlers.
