There’s a lot to love about fall. But one of the best things about the season has got to be the colorful foliage that comes along with it. While the vibrant hues of fall can be seen all over the state, one of the best places for leaf-peeping is the Parnell Tower Trail. It’s a bit of a trek but well worth it since the trail comes to an end at Parnell Tower, a 60’ observation tower that offers incredible panoramic views. Take a look:

Easily accessible with plenty of parking, the trail begins right at the parking lot, which is located off County Highway U.

The 3-mile loop trail winds through Kettle Moraine State Forest.

A section of the Parnell Tower Trail overlaps with the Ice Age National Trail, so you can incorporate that into your hike if you’d like.
