The popular website Niche.com recently ranked The Woodlands #1 on its “2021 Best Cities to Live in America” list, citing reasons such as the city’s great housing market and public school system, neighborhood diversity, affordability, and walkability. Here’s everything you need to know about The Woodlands:
A planned community just 28 miles north of Houston, The Woodlands is equal parts city and country.

After ranking in the top 10 places to live in the U.S. on Niche.com for several years, The Woodlands has finally earned the #1 spot.

It’s also a great place to look for work, as the job market here has grown tremendously over the past few years.

In addition to being ranked the #1 place to live in the nation, The Woodlands also made it into the top 10 cities for public schooling, buying a house, and raising a family.

Only two other Texas cities made it into the top 20.
