And the Crown Point State Scenic Corridor and the Vista House offer the most incredible panoramas of the iconic Columbia River Gorge. The Vista House, perched 693 feet above the Columbia River, provides million-dollar views of the iconic river. Its architecture and history is astounding, and it truly is one of Oregon’s crown jewels. What are some of the most beautiful places in Oregon? There is endless beauty in The Beaver State; some of the state’s most glorious wonders are quiet little gems. Portland Japanese Garden one such place. Located in Oregon’s iconic Washington Park, the Japanese Garden is a 12-acre urban oasis that’s breathtakingly beautiful. As a Japanese garden, this space is supposed to evoke a sense of peace, harmony, and tranquility and to experience the absolute awe of nature, and that’s exactly what it does.
