There’s no better way to chill out during the hot days of summer than an alcohol-infused popsicle from Pop Brothers! The Gulf Coast-based sweet shop has three locations, plus a food truck, so getting your hands (and lips) on one of its new cocktail-themed poptails couldn’t be easier.

Pop Brothers is an “artisan pop maker” that started off in Gulfport and now has locations in Ocean Springs and Bay St. Louis.

Aside from its three stationary locations, Pop Brothers has a food truck, which travels around the Gulf Coast.

The food truck is a direct result of COVID. Rather than close down, like many other businesses during the pandemic, Pop Brothers purchased the truck and took its treats to the streets.

A recently-approved liquor license brought about another change at Pop Brothers – poptails, which are popsicles infused with liquor or specialty beer from local brewers.

Available beginning June 1st, the boozy popsicles come in a variety of flavors, such as mimosa, hurricane, and margarita.

Poptails, just like the non-alcoholic popsicles at Pop Brothers, are made in small batches, using fruit, cream, herbs, and spices.

Also similar to the non-alcoholic pops, the varieties of poptails will change with the seasons, depending on the availability of ingredients.

In addition to poptails and non-alcoholic pops, Pop Brothers has pops for pups.

With a new food truck and boozed-up popsicles, it’s safe to say Pop Brothers didn’t just survive the pandemic. It’s thrived.
