Within this splendid naturescape, there’s a four-mile trail that leads to a stunning waterfall and grotto, and it’s a bucket-list must for all outdoor enthusiasts in Kentucky.
Recognized as the tallest waterfall in Kentucky, Yahoo Falls is 113 feet of pure power, the scale of which will take your breath away.

The best part about this superlative superstar is that it’s relatively easy to access. The four-mile, out-and-back Yahoo Falls Trail is a favorite among hikers of varying skill levels and abilities.

One of the most scenic hiking spots in the state, Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area offers hikers a lush forest surrounded by Bluegrass nature. There are numerous trails within this area, but the Yahoo Falls Trail is one of the grandest and most glorious.
