The Shoppes at Johnny Appleseed are like several attractions in one. There’s a lot more to do here than you’d think at first glance, and it really does have a little bit of everything.

Within The Shoppes is The Apple Kitchen. Open on weekends, it’s a small restaurant serving lunch items and tasty desserts. They even carry wine and beer (locally-made, of course).

But there’s so much more to The Shoppes at Johnny Appleseed than soup, sandwiches, and cookies (even if they are delicious). It’s also a craft market.

There are also many vendors of artisan goods here. Locally-produced goods such as honey and soap abound. There are entire booths filled with candles and you’ll want to sniff every one.

But wait, there’s more! There are also many antique vendors here, giving the Shoppes the air of an antique mall. You never know what kind of goodies you’ll find here.

After you’re done perusing the goods for sale, walk outside. The area surrounding the Shoppes is beautiful. The grass is maintained and there’s even a one-mile trail to enjoy. You’ll get a great view of the pond and nearby valleys.
