As the unequivocal home of country music, Nashville hosts a number of venues that epitomize all of the elements found in Southern culture. Hermitage House Smorgasbord, located just outside the city’s downtown, is one such place.
Hermitage House has been a Music City staple since 1975, serving up heaping helpings of Southern favorites in an all-you-can-eat buffet format. The Prosser family has been operating the restaurant since the beginning with homemade dishes and a comfortable, welcoming environment.
Members of the Prosser family say the goal at Hermitage House is to make their diners feel right at home. A passage on the restaurant’s website states, “You will be greeted with a smile and welcomed into our dining room.”
