In the first few months of 1997, young women began disappearing from the Hudson Valley region. All of the girls who vanished were small-framed white women with brown hair. Within just a few months, multiple women who shared a physical resemblance were missing and police began to suspect a serial killer. With no bodies or crime scene found, it was a difficult case to solve. By the time the monster was caught, eight women had tragically lost their lives.

Upon obtaining a search warrant for the home, eight bodies were found in varying stages of decomposition.

Francois lived in the home with his family, but the house was filthy inside and filled with trash. Apparently, the trash was so plentiful that it hid the odors of the decaying bodies!

Francois was found guilty of eight counts of murder and sentenced to life in prison, where he passed away in September of 2014.

If the woman Francois kidnapped had not been able to escape, it is almost certain that he would have had even more victims.
