The Turquoise Trail is one of our state’s most lovely scenic byways. However, the most visually unexpected stop along this drive is man-made rather than natural. It’s hard to imagine how to improve on scenery like this, but this origami garden in New Mexico does just that.
Please note that the Turquoise Trail Sculpture Garden is closed until the spring of 2022 while they work on making new origami gardens. During normal operating times, it will be open Monday through Friday, from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. (Memorial Day through Labor Day). For more information visit the garden’s website here.
