Nothing says summer quite like enjoying a movie under the stars! The sun has just gone down, there’s a warm breeze in the air and the crickets are singing all around you. Spending an evening at a drive-in in New Hampshire is tons of fun. It’s also a great way to inexpensively entertain the family. There are a few great ones throughout the state, but this one sitting right on the border of Massachusetts is truly something unique!

The beautifully situated Northfield Drive-In is located in Hinsdale. Mostly, that is!

Opened by Carl Neilman in August of 1948, the drive-in theater was initially planned to be in Massachusetts. So, the projection booth and snack bar are in New Hampshire while parts of the lawn are actually located in Massachusetts.
