Warmer weather means it’s time to go outdoors! Enjoying nature in New York is a breeze with all of our amazing parks, beaches, trails, and lakes. There’s certainly plenty to do on an afternoon outside, but sometimes you might find yourself wanting a little more of a getaway. Camping in New York is a wonderful experience, and we have plenty of campgrounds that are worth checking out. One that we really love is Rollins Pond Campground on Rollins Pond.

Rollins Pond makes for a beautiful outing whether you’re all alone, on a romantic couple’s retreat, or have the whole family with you.

This campground is absolute heaven for water lovers. Canoes, kayaks, and rowboats are all available for rent.

Steven Martin/Google Local Rollins Pond is over 400 acres, so there’s a lot to explore. For those who love to fish, the smaller Whey Pond (just opposite the campsites) is stocked with plenty of trout!

The views here are truly magnificent. Miles away from civilization, it’s easy to forget about all your problems while looking out over the glorious pond.

Wood and ice cream vendors are on site, and there are also showers and bathroom facilities. The sites are a little more spaced-out here than at other nearby campgrounds, so there’s privacy and space to relax.
