The Last Frontier has some pretty wild trails and this waterfront trail in Alaska is no different! During this thrilling hike, you’ll have to race the clock and time your hike to hit the tide tables right. Otherwise, the trail disappears, and you’ll have to spend the night on the peninsula before heading back out again in the morning!
There’s a fantastic hike in Seward, Alaska that takes you right along Resurrection Bay.
Frances Maestas / AllTrails This is a beautiful hike to do all year long. The views are breathtaking and the trail is interesting. You’ll probably see wildlife along the trail, including whales, porpoises, and more!
The trail starts in the forest along a well-graded path.

You’ll reach a bridge, which crosses over a stunning glacial stream before reaching the ocean.

This is a great trail for many of the skill levels in your group, but you’ll have to be brisk.

The stretch between Tonsina Point and North Beach is three miles long.
