Upstate New York’s famous wine trails are mostly found in the Finger Lakes, but this trail along the coast of Lake Champlain features several fantastic wineries tucked away in the state’s beautiful Adirondack region. And with the weather in upstate New York warming up, it’s a great time to plan a weekend of enjoying the tastes of upstate New York at a couple of these unique vineyards. If you’re a wine enthusiast, this trail is absolutely worth checking out.

Most people naturally think of the Finger Lakes at the mention of New York’s most famous wineries, but don’t sleep on the Adirondacks when it comes to spending a weekend exploring a new wine trail, because this region has a lot to offer.

If you head upstate and explore the coast of Lake Champlain, you’ll discover a collection of wineries that span 33 miles, known as the Adirondack Coast Wine Trail.

There are six wineries and cideries along the trail: Amazing Grace Vineyard, Elfs Farm Winery and ADK Hard Cider, Everett Orchards, Hid-In-Pines Vineyard, The Champlain Wine Company, and Vesco Ridge Vineyard.
