Concord’s Colonial Inn, located in Concord, is one such hotel. It’s been around since 1716… and apparently, the building isn’t the only remnant of the past that remains.

In 1966, a woman named Judith Fellenz stayed in Room 24 at the inn. She would later write to the inn and tell them she woke up to see a grayish, shadowy figure beside her bed, watching her.

Judith Fellenz said, “I was so frightened I could not scream.” The figure eventually floated around the room before melting away. Judith Fellenz’s letter is now listed on the website.

But she isn’t the only person who’s experienced something odd and potentially paranormal. Other guests have reported feeling uneasy and seeing strange things inside the inn, especially in room 24.

Room 24 was used as an operating room during the Revolutionary War. Many wounded soldiers were taken to Colonial Concord’s Inn… and rumor has it, some truly never left the premises.
