Affiliated with the famous Lobster Pot restuarant and Lobster Pot Express, both in Provincetown, the Lobster & Chowder House opened in Wellfleet in 2021. It is located across the street from the entrance to Marconi Beach along Route 6.

Start your meal off with some award-winning New England Clam Chowder, one of the most popular items on the menu, or some Lobster Bisque instead. If you prefer a salad, there are several to choose from including a Lobster Stuffed Avocado which is half of an avocado stuffed with lobster salad, set on a bed of arugula.

The fish and chips entree is made with fried scrod and served with French fries, although you can upgrade to the truffle or cheesy fries instead.

Of course, a place with “lobster” in its name is bound to have plenty of lobster options. Among the many items are a hot lobster roll, lobster salad roll (pictured here), lobster rueben, lobster grilled cheese, a fried lobster roll, and the Lobstercado made with avocado, arugula, and Sriracha mayo on a grilled bun. All of these choices sound amazing, don’t they?

After you order your meal and head out back to the patio bar to have a drink while you wait. There is a wide selection of local brews, wine (including a few from Truro Vineyards), and signature cocktails on the drinks menu.
