The Cape Cod town of Eastham is home to a unique park that features three small lighthouses. Interestingly, these towers are all situated in a wooded clearing out of sight of the water. Stop by for a fun trip back in time and snap some beautiful photographs with these relics of the Bay State’s past.

Tucked away in the quiet seaside town of Eastham, three little lighthouses stand clustered together out of sight of the sea.

Known as the Three Sisters, these lighthouses were originally constructed in the 1830s and erected along the Nauset coast to ward sailors away from the hazardous shoreline.

The towers stand about twenty-two feet tall and are covered in charming, old-fashioned white shingles. After being retired from service, the lighthouses served as everything from summer cottages to a dance studio.

After decades of repairs and relocations due to erosion, the lighthouses were finally moved to their current position in a quiet park off of Cable Road in Eastham.

With their black lantern decks and white exteriors, locals thought the towers resembled three ladies in white dresses in black bonnets. The Three Sisters’ family resemblance is undeniable!

To check out the lighthouses, you can take a short walk from Nauset Lighthouse or park directly in front of the park.
