Walk Through A Bamboo Forest In This Mountain Park In North Carolina

When we think of forests in North Carolina, bamboo isn’t the natural go-to for the kinds of timber making up the forest. Yet, the Southeastern United States is where you’ll find the most bamboo growing in the wild in America. In North Carolina, a wonderful bamboo forest sits nestled in the mountain valley town of Cherokee. Known for many things, Cherokee is perhaps least of all known for the hidden bamboo forest, but it’s positively worthy of a visit.
