What’s the best part about fall? Many would say it’s seeing all the gorgeous, colorful leaves in New Jersey. Of course, knowing when and where to spot the best leaves is a bit difficult. They change quickly! Luckily, SmokyMountains.com has offered a 2021 Fall Foliage guide for leaf peepers across the country.
It’s difficult to deny that fall in New Jersey is beautiful. Sure, the lush greenery of summer is gorgeous. But the colorful leaves are just so eye-catching!

So, we used SmokeyMountains.com’s 2021 Fall Foliage Map to determine when and were we could find New Jersey’s peak foliage.

So, this year it looks like the tip of northern New Jersey will hit its peak around October 11.

By October 18, most of the rest of the state will have its peak — minus parts of southern New Jersey.

Those places in southern New Jersey will see the peak occur around October 25.
