Spring is on the horizon here in Rhode Island (we promise!), and that means that another beautiful tulip season will also soon be upon us. Tulips tend to start blooming in late April here on the East Coast, and when that happens, Wicked Tulips turns into a rich, colorful paradise. If you have yet to visit Rhode Island’s only tulip farm, here’s why you should consider a trip.

It all started when the flower-loving when Keriann met Jeroen Koeman, who came from a Dutch family of tulip growers.

In 2015, the couple moved to Rhode Island and founded Wicked Tulips, and we’re very glad they did.

The tulip farm is absolutely breathtaking when the flowers start to bloom.

There are over 800,000 bulbs in these fields, planted lovingly with a tractor.

Typically, visitors can purchase tickets that are good for picking 10 tulips.

If you can’t make it to the tulip farm, you can purchase bulbs in the fall and plant your own pretty tulips.
