Did you know that Idaho is home to a drive-thru wildlife park? It’s true! We’ve written about Yellowstone Bear World in the past, but with a focus on the main experience of driving thru the park and seeing all of the animals up close. Today, we’re focused on one experience at Bear World that should be considered a must when you visit. If you don’t have bottle-feeding cubs on your bucket list already, be sure to add it. Then, head on over to Bear World and check it off!

Located just five miles south of Rexburg, Yellowstone Bear World is a popular place to stop for Idaho families on their way to Yellowstone National Park or Grand Teton National Park.

The drive-thru wildlife experience provides a one-of-a-kind adventure for animal lovers of all ages. The main attraction is getting to drive through the park while surrounded by free-roaming wildlife on all sides.

Nothing beats getting up close to these amazing animals. Here you’ll visit with animals like Rocky Mountain Elk, Bison, White-tail Deer, and Moose. Of course, it’s the bears that steal the show - especially the cubs!

The cubs are downright adorable and you can get closer to them than ever with the park’s bottle-feeding experience. This is one of the park’s most popular activities and for good reason. It’s simply a once-in-a-lifetime event that everybody can enjoy.

Bottle-feeding takes place at the park daily at 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., and 5:00 p.m. During the experience, children (ages 5+) and adults can go behind the scenes with the keeper staff and receive a personal tour before bottle-feeding the baby bear cubs.

This is such an amazing experience and it’s one that you won’t soon forget. The experience costs $55 per person, not including park admissions. Reserving your space online beforehand is highly encouraged, as space usually sells out.
