If there’s one thing that comes to everyone’s mind when they think about Maine it’s lobster! Fresh from the sea, buttered and wedged between a roll or in any other form, this is one food that can’t be missed on a trip to Maine. But there are so many places to get it, how do you choose? We love the idea of making this spot a priority. Their lobster is fresh-caught and the views are some of the most beautiful we’ve seen. Plus, as a general store, you can get just about anything else you might need while you’re there.

Welcome to Pool Lobster at Goldthwaite’s located in Biddeford Pool.

Pool Lobster sits on Saco Bay and offers visitors the opportunity to see up the coast and out onto the water. This is a fantastic place to see why the coast of Maine is believed to be one of the most beautiful places on earth.

While we love Maine’s seafood takeout joints, this isn’t quite that. The food here feels a bit more thoughtful and the results are beautiful.
