Luckily for us, the Kisatchie National Forest is home to countless primitive trails that will bring out the inner explorer in you. If you’re looking for an easy trail to start your forest trail bucket list, consider the Glenn Emery Trail – a short and sweet trail with some great payoffs. Let’s check it out.

Just north of Alexandria, the Glenn Emery Trail is great for both beginners and experienced hikers.
